教學(xué)內(nèi)容：
Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.
學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)：
Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.
教學(xué)功能：
講述某個地方的地理位置和相關(guān)的基本信息。
運用任務(wù)：
兩人合作，描述各省所在的方位，
教學(xué)過程：
一、熱身復(fù)習(xí)
老師出示一張中國地圖并進行介紹：This is a map of China. I’m from Beijing. It’s in the north of China.然后向?qū)W生提問：Where are you from/ Where is your uncle from? Where is your pen friend from?
二、任務(wù)呈現(xiàn)與課文導(dǎo)入
老師出示Simon的圖片，向?qū)W生提問：Who is he? 學(xué)生回答：He’s Simon. He’s Daming’s cousin.再問：Where is he from?學(xué)生回答：He’s from New York, America.
出示美國地圖并向?qū)W生提問：This is a map of America. Can you find New York?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在地圖上找到紐約的位置。
三、課文教學(xué)
在地圖上標注east, south, west, north,幫助學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)這些單詞，并注意糾正他們的發(fā)音。老師領(lǐng)讀后，根據(jù)口令做動作，例如
Please turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.
老師放錄音，學(xué)生邊聽邊看SB2Unit 2活動1的地圖，把錄音中提到的美國城市和國家名稱寫在黑板上。再放錄音，請學(xué)生跟讀。
通過問答展現(xiàn)句型Where is New York? It’s in the east of America. What about San Francisco? It’s in the west of America.
學(xué)生們掌握本語言點后，老師教授第二種位置表達法。老師說：”Where is Canada? It’s north of America. Where is Mexico? It’s south of America.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)這種表達與第一種表達法不同。因為加拿大和墨西哥在美國領(lǐng)土以外，所以表達方法不同。
鼓勵學(xué)生在完成SB Unit2活動1的基礎(chǔ)上完成AB Unit2練習(xí)
四、課文學(xué)習(xí)
Sb Unit2活動4.出示美國國旗，請學(xué)生邊聽邊看，熟悉韻詩的內(nèi)容。然后向?qū)W生講解他們不理解的內(nèi)容，如單詞Tennessee,再放錄音，學(xué)生跟讀。掌握Chant后，可以全班一起完成AB Unit2練習(xí)3.再聽錄音，根據(jù)錄音判斷練習(xí)中陳述是否正確。
課后作業(yè)：
SB Unit2活動3聽錄音模仿語音語調(diào)，特別注意句子中的重音部分。
板書設(shè)計：
Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.
Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.
