Competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. We compete when we play games, we try to do better than others in our study, and there is constant competition for jobs, customers, money, and so forth. We can say, to some extent,competition is one of the motive forces of the development of society.
And we often find competition and cooperation at the same time. Think of a basketball game, each team is competing with the other team. But each member of the team is cooperating with his or her teammates. In most cases, we can't do competition without cooperation. Thus they are equally important.
While we are advocating competition, we can't forget cooperation. Nothing is to be carried to extremes. Pure and exclusive competition leads to failures. Competition together with cooperation help us a great deal in obtaining our goals and satisfying our needs, especially in modernizing our country.
競(jìng)爭(zhēng)是我們社會(huì)生活中很普遍的一種現(xiàn)象。當(dāng)我們玩游戲時(shí)我們會(huì)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，在學(xué)習(xí)上我們盡力比別人做得好，為了找工作，為了搶顧客，為了賺錢(qián)等等，無(wú)時(shí)無(wú)刻都存在著競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。我們可以這樣說(shuō)，在某種程度上，競(jìng)爭(zhēng)是社會(huì)的發(fā)展的`推動(dòng)力。
我們也經(jīng)常發(fā)現(xiàn)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作并存，想象在一場(chǎng)籃球賽中，每一支球隊(duì)在和另一支球隊(duì)進(jìn)行比賽，但是球隊(duì)的每一個(gè)隊(duì)員都要與本隊(duì)成員合作，大多數(shù)情況下，沒(méi)有合作就沒(méi)有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。因此，競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作是同等重要的。
當(dāng)我們?cè)谔岢?jìng)爭(zhēng)時(shí)，不能忘了合作，走極端只會(huì)一事無(wú)成。為了競(jìng)爭(zhēng)而競(jìng)爭(zhēng)只會(huì)導(dǎo)致失敗。競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作有助于達(dá)到我們的目標(biāo)，滿足我們的需求，特別是對(duì)國(guó)現(xiàn)代化建設(shè)。
