　　As I speak to you today I would like to wish you, wherever you may be, a happy Christmas.

　　今天我發(fā)表講話,誠心祝愿各位不論身在何處,都有一個(gè)快樂的圣誕節(jié)。

　　And though we live in hard and critical times, Christmas is and always will be a time when we can count our blessings.

　　盡管我們生活在一段艱難、危機(jī)的時(shí)代,圣誕節(jié)依然是、也總是一個(gè)可以捎去祝福的.日子。

　　I myself have every cause of a deep thankfulness for not only by the grace of God, and through the faithful skill my doctors, surgeons and nurses have I come through my illness.

　　我自己也深懷感謝之情,不僅是因?yàn)樯系鄣母��?也因?yàn)槲业尼t(yī)生、外科醫(yī)生和護(hù)士們擁有的精良醫(yī)術(shù)使我的疾病得以痊愈。

　　And I have learned once again that it is in bad times that we value most highly the support and sympathy of our friends.

　　我再一次地認(rèn)識(shí)到,艱難時(shí)刻人們更會(huì)珍惜朋友們的支持與同情。
