M: Why don't you get somebody else to take your place?
W: Well, there is only one person I know who could do it, and that's Jim. He is a great violinist,and I'm sure he'd say yes. (14) The thing is that he is not very reliable. I mean I'm in theorchestra with him and he is always showing up late for rehearsals.
M: Oh, so you're not sure you can depend on him.
W: Exactly, and we have less than a week left to rehearse for the concert. We'd really needhim to show up on time for all of our rehearsals.
M: (15) I think you can have a conversation with him to tell him the urgent situation and I amsure he will know how to do.
W: OK, I will try my best.
