Cultural differences英語(yǔ)作文
Cultural differences do exist in every corner of the world where the same behavior often carries totally different meanings when we socialize with people. The four experiences above are typical examples.
Take having dinners as a case in point when we are in China we often pay for dinners even though there are many people eating with you. But the next time it will be someone else who pays for the dinner. However, the British are uesd to having dinners with friends without paying for them.
I think it is high time that we hold an open mind to embrace different cultures. As the saying goes that when in Rome do as Romansdo When we are in other countries we should do things in their ways which will not result in a embarrassing conversation with the locals.
